  • The RagaMuffin is a newer breed of  felines first recognized  by the (ACFA) American Cat Fanciers Association in 1994.
  • RagaMuffins are an outstanding newer breed of cat.  The RagaMuffins breathtaking beauty, intelligence and ever so loving nature makes them fabulous companions.
  • The RagaMuffin is a non-stop purring fur person.  All you have to do is walk in the room and audible purring begins.  (I have found no way to turn the purring off, so I dare not lay down as they all join me and the purring puts me right to sleep.)
  • The RagaMuffin is an easy to care for companion.  They are well behaved, intelligent and easily trained.  They are low shedding and their coats resist matting.
  • Our RagaMuffin family members can't wait to meet new people.  When the doorbell rings it's a race to see who can reach the door first.  We usually lose the race.  Once the door is opened they promptly introduce themselves with loud purring.
  • Human family members are very important to the RagaMuffin.  They spoil you every opportunity they get.  From warming your favorite chair while waiting for you, to snuggling in bed.  They are always there to comfort.
  • RagaMuffins are very compassionate.  They know when you are sad, sick or happy and respond accordingly. There is nothing better than having a RagaMuffin curl up next to you when you are feeling down or ill.
  • RagaMuffins are fabulous with other animals, children, the elderly and disabled.  They are very gentle and soft pawed.  It is very uncommon to get a scratch from them.
  • RagaMuffins must be kept as indoors, they do not protect themselves from danger as they love everyone and everything..
  • The wonderful companionship of the RagaMuffin is only enhanced by it's willingness to play games with people and pets.  They are a comedy routine ready to go into action at the drop of a hat.
  • The RagaMuffin is a miraculous blessing of captivating beauty and irresistibly sweet personality.  RagaMuffins must have been sent by angels as they are the perfect feline companion!

Now you may want to know what the difference is between a Ragdoll and a RagaMuffin.  Please remember that the RagaMuffin is a breed of it's very own.

  • The RagaMuffin Difference: The RagaMuffin has a shorter nose with a defined scoop,  the Ragdoll has a gentle curve.  The head of the RagaMuffin is gently rounded, the Ragdoll has a flat plane between the ears. The RagaMuffin has a more cherub-like face, and slightly smaller more forward facing ears.  RagaMuffins have a sweet expression and walnut shaped eyes rather than the almond shaped eyes of the Ragdoll.  The colors and patterns of the RagaMuffin are endless and all eye colors can be found.  Mink is a RagaMuffin color, the Ragdoll does not have mink.
